Patient Comfort and Caregiver Safety
Medical recliners have become the focal point in delivering patient comfort during long treatments or hospital stays.
Patient Comfort
What makes comfort? Feel, support, and temperature. These recliner models have medical grade vinyls that have a luxurious feel. They have specialty foams which keep the body positioned in the way each individual needs. And this year will be remembered as the turning point in using heated seating. The result is improving the experience the patient has during treatment or recovery.
Safe Patient Handling
Today's medical recliners have brought welcomed safety features. For both hospital or clinical staff and patients, these new models have the characteristics which eliminate trips and falls hazards and improve a facility's environment of safety.
Trendelenberg - No longer is it necessary to place the patient on the floor to get blood circulating again. Medical recliners have Trendelenberg positions built into them. Often they are optional features, unless they are specifically treatment recliners.
Swingout arms - Patient lifting disappears when the recliner's arm is open to receive the lateral transfer of the patient into and out of the chair.
